Join us at our next Mentor Match event, where we bring together the next wave of newly trained mentors to meet promising tech businesses. Check out the highlights of the last Mentor Match Up event click here
Start-ups have the opportunity to meet up to 6 prospective mentors with the skills and knowledge they require - and then to choose the one mentor that best meets their mission. Once mentors are selected; embark on a six-to-twelve-month journey during which together the partnerships will identify and explore goals and objectives.
Day 1 (28th): 10am -1pm
Introduction session on the programme and what to expect.
Lean Canvas one page business plan workshop a with our partners We Are Nova
Roundtable discussion to get to know other start-ups on the programme and prepare for the Mentor meetings.
The session finishes at 1pm to allow founders to complete the remainder of Lean Canvas before the mentor sessions the following day.
Day 2 (29th) 10am -1pm
Founders return with their Lean Canvas to commence Mentor Sessions.
15 minute one to ones with pre-matched mentors to share the founders business idea and learn a little about the mentor, their experience and they bring to the table.
Backed by UKFast CEO Lawrence Jones, Tech Manchester exists to offer mentoring and infrastructure support to early-stage tech start-ups, helping realise Andy Burnham's ambition of cementing the city as a major European digital centre.
