HCD Manchester. Defining customers effectively

Let us explore different ways to think about your customers to achieve the best outcomes. Understanding the customer has become a central strategy to lots of businesses over the last few years; some even believe that putting customers at the centre of your decisions will make your business more profitable. Different tools have been created by researchers to help us understand who our customers are, where they go, what influences them and how they try to achieve their goals, but they have not always been successful. This talk will cover the different ways to think about your customers depending on the research question you have in mind, discussing the benefits and limitations of each profile and how you can get the best view of your customer.
